DEAD MEN DON’T WALK

Standing at the doorstep
Looking at my portrait
Touching all the loose skin
Hanging from the black of my eyes

Standing at the front door
I am a collector
I collect dead things
I'm in love with cool shiny dead things

Dead men don’t laugh
Dead men don’t care
Dead men don’t see
Dead men - they stare

Dead men don’t walk
Dead men don’t walk
Are we all dead men walking?
I ask myself

Twisting in our slumbers
Getting paid in numbers
Surrounding us with dead things
Sucking out the light in our eyes

Standing at the doorstep
Looking at my portrait
Touching all my loose skin
Hanging from the dead of my eyes

Dead men don’t laugh
Dead men don’t care
Dead men don’t see
Dead men - they stare

Dead men don’t walk
Dead men don’t walk
Are we all dead men walking?
I ask myself

You say you’re not the kind
You know how to control your mind
You hold your head up high
There’re more important things in life
Still you’re doing it by yourself
Doing it all by yourself
Cause you really need it
You run out and get it
Again and again and again and again

Dead men don’t laugh
Dead men don’t care
Dead men don’t see
Dead men - they stare

Dead men don’t walk
Dead men don’t walk
Are we all dead men walking?

I ask myself now

Dead men don’t walk here?
